WHY DOES THE BATTERY NOT LAST AS LONG?

Usage hours may be shorter depending on the codec and the conditions of use. For prolonging the usage of the earphones, please set the volume to a moderate level and lower audio bitrate when possible

  • Media playback time: Max. 3 hours (aptX/SBC/AAC codec)
  • Hands-free/Talk time: Max. 4 hours

WHEN WATCHING/STREAMING VIDEOS, WHY DOES THE AUDIO NOT SYNC WITH THE VIDEO?

In True Wireless, instead of one Bluetooth receiver, there are two and data have to be transmitted twice which can cause latency issue in playing video/audio. The earphones require the data to buffer about 20-80 millisecond (ms) to prevent signal drop-out between earphones, which can cause latency when watching a video.

Devices and apps that your earphones are paired to could compensate by adding a slight video delay to synchronize with the Bluetooth latency. As an accessory manufacturer, we do not have such control over the devices and app that are used with our earphones and we are looking into future improvements that would help with the latency issue.

To minimize the latency when watching a video, we ask you to lower the bit rate of the audio if possible and move the host device closer to the Master earphone so to reduce any environmental interference between the devices.

WHY DOES ONLY ONE EARPHONE WORK DURING PHONE CALLS?

Due to safety reason, only one earbud will work for phone calls so you are able to hear out the other ear. Make sure on your device under Bluetooth that the Apollo 7’s are set to receive phone calls.

HOW MANY DEVICES CAN BE PAIR WITH THE APOLLO 7?

APOLLO 7 can store up to 8 devices profiles, however, only ONE active profile can be used at a time.

Once paired beyond the 8 devices limit, the first profile will be remove followed by the second and so forth.

WHY DOES THE SIGNAL DROP?

Signal drop occurs when there is interference between the earphones or the host device which causes data loss during transmission,  this a relatively normal occurs with wireless devices.

If you are experiencing a high amount of signal drop, try moving the host device closer to the Master earphones to see if the situation improve. Also, make sure that the earphones are pointed upwards to improve the connection and try to avoid areas with high-level of radio interference like cellular towers and Wi-Fi routers.

HOW TO SWITCH THE ERATOSURROUND?

Use the button on either left or right earphone to control the sound mode. *
Please quickly press 4 times in standby mode. As you hear the tone, it means you switch to another sound mode.
* If you failed to switch sound mode from one side, please try to switch the sound mode from the other side again.

Modes LED pattern Numbers of tones
3D enalbe Red flashing 2 times 2
Wide 3D enable Red flashing 3 times 3
3D disalbe Red flashing 4 times 4

PAIRING ISSUES

  • The earphones and device will need to be within 1 m (3 feet) from each other and are sufficiently charged.
  • Verify that your host device Bluetooth is ON and searching for Bluetooth devices.
  • Verify that earphones are not connected to another device. If LED lights on earphone are steadily flashing blue, that indicates the earphones are paired to an existing device.
  • If you are pairing the earphones to your device again, the pairing information of the earphones remains on your device which may cause pairing issues. In these cases, delete the earphone information from your device and perform a FACTORY RESET (see instructions bellow), and then pair them again.

FACTORY RESET

Erases all Bluetooth profiles and restore back to factory specifications.

  1. Insert earphones into charging case
  2. Insert micro USB charging cable into the charging case and power supply (not included)
  3. While the charging case is open, use a pin to push the hidden reset button for more than 5 seconds found on the bottom of the sliding tray.
  4. If done successfully, the LEDs should flash red 5 times in quick succession.

LOW SOUND LEVEL

Android and non-iOS devices: Turn up the volume on the earphones AND on your host device. The volume controls are independent of each other when listening to music/media.

For Hands-free volume is controlled by the host device, increase the volume on your host device.

EARPHONE(S) NOT CHARGING

If your Apollo 7 earphones are not charging try these simple troubleshooting steps:

  1. Inspect the copper contact found on the earphones and charging case. If found dirty, please use a cotton swab with rubbing alcohol to clean the contacts.
  2. When inserting into the charging case, feel for a click to indicate the earphones are locked into position.
  3. Look for a red flashing light which indicates the earphones are charging. (Note: You may need to rotate the earphone so the LED’s are facing you.)
  4. Insert the micro USB charging cable into the charging case and power supply. Look for the earphone charging indicator and see if it is active.
  5. It will take approximately 2 hours to fully charge the Apollo 7 from when it is completely drained. Once fully charged the indicators on the charging case will turn off.

ONLY SINGLE EARPHONE ACTIVE WHEN PLAYING MUSIC

  • Make sure both earphones are properly charged. There should be red flashing lights on the earphones when inserted into the charging case to show that the earphones are charging, as well as the earphone indicator on the charging case should be on.
  • In order for the Apollo 7 to function correctly, please make sure only ONE earphone is paired to your device. The second earphone will connect to the earphone that is paired to your device. If you have both earphones connected to your device, please remove one that you wish not to be the Master earphone.
