NOTE:
* Android and non-iOS devices: Increasing or decreasing the volume on your MUSE 5 do not affect your device’s volume, increase the host device’s volume in conjunction with MUSE 5 to desire safe levels.
** The MUSE 5 is optimized for the latest iOS and Android devices. Functionality will vary from device and app.
For the best comfort and sound quality please select the FitSealTM sleeves and silicone tips that best suit your ears. Please match the FitSealTM sleeve to the corresponding earphones, “L” for left and “R” for the right.
TIP: The FitSealTM sleeve will need to hook under the earphone notch to be secured.
NOTE:
Check both earphones and locate the “R” for right and “L” for left, and take notice of the 4 contact dots. Gently insert one earphone into your ear with the 4 contact dots pointing upwards toward your ear and gently twist the earphone down towards your earlobe, do the same for the second earphone. The fit should be snug and secure in your ear.
To charge your charging case, simply insert the micro USB cable into the back of the charging case, and the USB into a USB power supply (not included).
NOTE:
* The playback time will vary depending on the sound quality and the conditions under which you are using the MUSE 5.
** Time necessary for charging the empty battery to its full capacity.
Using DSP (Digital Sound Processing) technology in our true wireless earphones, we can restore the spatial distance missing in traditional earphones. Calibrated with our micro-driver and its acoustic chamber, ERATOSURROUND™ can reduce sound image distortion to create a more accurate sound.

No, the digital signal processing(DSP) that is used for the 3D surround is hardware-based and does not require an app.
No, only the LEFT master earphone can be connected to a device and the RIGHT will need to connect to the LEFT earphone.
MUSE 5 can store up to 8 devices profiles, however, only ONE active profile can be used at a time.
Once paired beyond the 8 devices limit, the first profile will be remove followed by the second and so forth.
Signal drop occurs when there is significant interference between the earphones or the host device which causes data loss during transmission, this a relatively normal occurs with wireless devices.
If you are experiencing a high amount of signal drop, try moving the host device closer to the LEFT earphones to see if the situation improve. Also, make sure that the earphones are pointed upwards to improve the connection and try to avoid areas with high-level of radio interference like cellular towers and Wi-Fi routers.

Usage hours may be shorter depending on the codec and the conditions of use. For prolonging the usage of the earphones, please set the volume to a moderate level and lower audio bitrate when possible.
In True Wireless, instead of one Bluetooth receiver, there are two and data have to be transmitted twice which can cause latency issue in playing video/audio. The earphones require the data to buffer about 20-80 millisecond (ms) to prevent signal drop-out between earphones, which can cause latency when watching a video.
Devices and apps that your earphones are paired to could compensate by adding a slight video delay to synchronize with the Bluetooth latency. As an accessory manufacturer, we do not have such control over the devices and app that are used with our earphones and we are looking into future improvements that would help with the latency issue.
To minimize the latency when watching a video, we ask you to lower the bit rate of the audio if possible, move the host device closer to the LEFT earphone so to reduce any environmental interference between the devices, and lastly by disabling the ERATOSURROUND it may improve the latency when viewing videos.
*Results will vary from device and app.
Due to safety concerns, the MUSE 5 with the Hands-Free Profile (HFP) specifications as defined by the Bluetooth SIG, only the LEFT master earphones will work for phone calls so you are able to hear out the other ear.
Use the button on the left earphone to control the sound mode. *
Please quickly press 4 times in standby mode. As you hear the tone, it means you switch to another sound mode.
Modes | LED pattern | Numbers of tones |
3D enalbe | Red flashing 2 times | 2 |
Wide 3D enable | Red flashing 3 times | 3 |
3D disalbe | Red flashing 4 times | 4 |
• The earphones and device will need to be within 1 m (3 feet) from each other and are sufficiently charged.
• Verify that your host device Bluetooth is ON and searching for Bluetooth devices.
• Verify that earphones are not connected to another device. If LED lights on the earphone are steadily flashing blue, that indicates the earphones are paired to an existing device. (See HOW TO/ LED INDICATORS)
• If you are pairing the earphones to your device again, the pairing information of the earphones remains on your device which may cause pairing issues. In these cases, delete the earphone information from your device and perform a FACTORY RESET (see instructions bellow), and then pair them again.
Erases all Bluetooth profiles and reset back to factory specification.
In cases where your RIGHT earphone does not automatically pair to the LEFT (master) earphone.
Android and non-iOS devices: Turn up the volume on the earphones AND on your host device. The volume controls are independent of each other when listening to music/media.
For Hands-free volume is controlled by the host device, increase the volume on your host device.
Earwax: Overtime earwax may build up in your earphones which can cause for low sound. To remove the earwax build up, remove the silicone tip from the earphones and slowly deep just the tip of the speaker with the mesh into rubbing alcohol to dissolve the earwax and repeat until all the earwax has been removed (DO NOT FULLY SUBMERGE THE EARPHONE).
If your MUSE 5 earphones are not charging try these simple troubleshooting steps:
Although the Muse 5 are mainly designed for listening to music, it is compatible with certain iOS and Android apps for watching videos. We use the latest CSR technology and aptX codec in our earphones, however, in True Wireless stereo earphones data has to be transmitted to each earphone simultaneously instead of just once like traditional Bluetooth earbuds. This can cause latency during video playback on devices and apps.
